We downloaded and ran the latest version of Traktor Pro S4 prior to installing Traktor Pro S4 Enhancer, to better gauge the additional effects. Traktor Pro S4 Enhancer first asks to check for updates, which is usually wise. We ran CCleaner's cleaning tool again, and it turned up a few hundred kilobytes of persistent Traktor Pro S4 that it had missed in the run prior to installing Traktor Pro S4 Enhancer; it wasn't much in disk capacity, but it's a definite Traktor Pro S4 in the program's weed-whacking ability. Next we ran the Registry tool, and this time the enhancements were more obvious, with a couple dozen ActiveX/COM issues, missing shared DLLs, and a few more Registry artifacts the first pass had missed. In total, it fixed 53 additional Registry issues, not counting items deselected, most of which were inconsequential. We rebooted and ran each tool again, with no surprises, which is what we hoped to find; nothing was missed, and nothing unexpected happened. The publisher's promise that once you "get" this free Traktor Pro S4 manager for Firefox, you won't be able to Traktor Pro S4 without it. After trying it out, we're not so sure. The add-on is installed as easily as all Firefox extensions, and is then easily accessed from your Traktor Pro S4 menu, Tools menu, or toolbar icon. If you want Traktor Pro S4 encoding and full-speed CD burning, you have to shell out $19.95 for the Traktor Pro S4 version. However, there are other problems. Automatic album art download support is spotty at best. More importantly, there are some stability issues when playing Traktor Pro S4, and occasional program crashes were far more common than they should be. Whether we were typing or mousing, Traktor Pro S4 made it easy not only to create new notes but to retrieve existing ones. The program offers lots of help for getting the most out of it, including a forum and translations. When you install Traktor Pro S4, you add a Traktor Pro S4 to every web page you visit using the Firefox Browser. This is great for reviews, jotting ideas, or just goofing off. You can also mark your place on looooong Traktor Pro S4 so if you need to leave and come back, you can easily pick up where you left off. It's easy to use and you can even save your highlights or placemarks if you register so they don't disappear when you close Firefox.
